Instead of digging through folders, I can simply search by keywords or properties and find exactly what I need. The version control feature is also very useful for keeping everyone updated on the latest document.
Desventajas
The learning curve is a bit steep for new users. At first, the interface felt overwhelming and it took time to understand how everything works.

For the company right now, M-Files works and Management can access documents easily.
For the company right now, M-Files works and Management can access documents easily.
Puntos a favor
M-Files works well on a single machine or on a server. I have deployed it on to an i5 server and we are 5 users that use the software to search for Travel Coupons. Search feature works well and the best thing is that it integrates with Windows and Windows products like One Drive and Outlook. It makes it easier for us to share documents. The workflow feature is quiet robust and if thought out well can replace manual approval processes.
Desventajas
M-Files does not come fully packed with all features at a price point. We have to pay for Electronic Signature and If I want Digital Signature I have to pay 3rd party for the signature account and then M-Files for the integration. This is a bit tricky if you have budgeted an EDMS and all of a sudden all these pay walls appear. M-Files comes with Firebird DB embedded as default. It is quiet good but large organizations will have to move to MS SQL sooner than later as the retrieving becomes slower as there are more Objects in a Vault.

Easy indexing files like you can find a particular file from a pile of files. Easy to use with good AI feature with faster response.
Desventajas
Support is not up to the mark as it's slow and if you stuck you can not go further. As it has too much feature sometimes confusing.

It used to be common to waste time searching for files or mixing up versions, but now everything is classified by type, date, and owner. This has allowed us to work with greater organization and confidence.
