This process used to be so tedious for us, using cad and then excel and then transferring this data to HECRAS. Having a 2D visual map where sections can be cut with HECRAS all in the same program is a time saver and aids in better hydraulic modeling all around > > **Desventajas**: My least favorite aspect of the program is establishing the correct coordinate system, only because there are hundreds to choose from and sometimes survey data that you have doesn't make it clear what coordinate system they are using, but that is not really the program's fault. However, if there was a way for the program to narrow down possibilites for the coordinate system based on imported surface information that would be helpful. > > The tech support is outstanding and the program itself is very intuitive and user friendly.
