Teachworks es una solución de software de gestión de tutorías basada en la nube, diseñada para automatizar los procesos clave para empresas de enseñanza, escuelas y centros de tutorías. Esta solución es una muy buena opción para las escuelas de idiomas, música y manejo, además de las empresas de preparación para exámenes. Teachworks está optimizado para usarse en todas las plataformas, como dispositivos con pantalla táctil, para proporcionar acceso en cualquier momento y lugar. Además de la capacidad para administrar a estudiantes, profesores, programación, facturación, nómina y más, este software proporciona un calendario centralizado y codificado por colores para reservar clases y sesiones de enseñanza. Disponible en seis vistas diferentes y la posibilidad de filtrar por estudiante, maestro o ubicación, los horarios pueden reorganizarse de manera intuitiva al arrastrar, soltar y cambiar la duración de las lecciones a un período definido. El sistema indica la disponibilidad de tutores y también detecta conflictos de horarios, sincroniza los cambios en el calendario en múltiples cuentas de usuario, envía confirmaciones por correo electrónico y permite reservar las lecciones. Un complemento de reservas dedicado permite a los estudiantes ver y unirse a clases abiertas dentro de un sitio web existente, mientras que las funciones de comunicación adicionales incluyen el envío de recordatorios automáticos de asistencia por correo electrónico e incluso por mensaje SMS.
Las capacidades de facturación y nómina facilitan los precios basados en reglas, la generación automatizada de facturas que se pueden personalizar para incorporar la marca corporativa, el procesamiento de pagos masivos y también la aceptación de transacciones con tarjetas de crédito a través de Stripe. Teachworks también extrae los registros de horas de los maestros directamente del calendario del sistema para calcular los importes de nómina pendientes. Puntos a favor
The system is simple yes robust to allow us to add multiple user-defined fields in the student profiles. Calendar views are "clean" easy to read. The ability to add other features (add-ons) for free as the need develops is great. It's easier to schedule. They have excellent customer support that responds well within the 2-hour window mentioned.
Desventajas
The ability to search from anywhere/any page in the program for a student would be helpful. This was a feature in our old system.

I wish I could view the calendar by status of completed appointments (so I could view any missed ones, for example).

It lacks two-way Sync to Google Calendar. People have been asking for that for a long time.

Spent a lot of time, and tried out a few different platforms, and Teachworks is by far the best. Whether generating invoices or reports, it is easy and efficient.

It is very easy to use on mobile or laptop.

Could be a bit cheaper, but it is not a major issue

Like it so much, I’ve stuck with it for nearly 10 years

It has been very positive. The online lesson feature was pretty glitchy when I used it during Covid & I ended up using FaceTime instead. But I hardly ever use that anymore - so not really a current issue. I’m not sure that I’ve ever needed customer support help - so I’d say the software works great (though I do have a very helpful husband who helps me out if I ever need it).

Love the calendar and invoicing most. Love that I can schedule lessons for the entire semester and then easily adjust when things need to change & that it will automatically notify the parents. Also love how easy it is to create invoices, edit them if needed, and send reminders to parents if they’re late. Very easy. Also love, when tax-time comes, that I can easily create a chart with all my income - to send to my CPA. Very easy.
Desventajas
I know a lot of other piano teachers who use other software that is much cheaper. I’m hesitant to change because I really like Teachworks, don’t want to have to learn a new software system, and have years of notes I don’t want to lose. But I do wish it weren’t quite as expensive.
