So as a Research Assistant, I often have to present my boss With lots of charts and numbers. These reports run super quick with Fathom. It pipes into my data and boom — I have clean graphs. When we are overspending on a project it is quite easy to observe.

> **Desventajas**: The small details in a chart are sometimes difficult to switch. Markymusic: If I want a very specific custom look, the tool is so “strict.” Additionally, if you have a large amount of data, it can be a bit slow to load everything.

> In short, it is a 100% professional document for reports. It makes me look really smart in meetings because the visuals are so clear. Fathom is for you if you hate manual charts in Excel.

> **Puntos a favor**: Fathom uses the information from Xero and doesn’t freeze up so that’s nice (I thought it would). Charts are acceptable enough for the shareholders so they won’t stare at me like I’ve lost my mind during the meeting.

> **Desventajas**: Balance sheet mappings are basically useless in comparison to the P\&L functions which creates pointless ratio comparisons. The software is also ridiculously slow if more than one person tries to work in it at the same time. Tax variables in the forecasting get screwed up and fixing them is a pain.

> All of our dozen entities were moved into one platform for monthly reporting. It can do multi-currency without me having to do the math myself (that was a shock); it will help identify problems in the business rather than having to sift through rows of boring number all day.
