Menos compatible con lenguajes específicos en comparación con otras plataformas.

Al ser un entorno visual es muy intuitivo, tiene una excelente integración con las demás herramientas Attlassian como Trello, y se puede utilizar para builds en CD/CI de manera sencilla

En general es muy buena herramienta , pero de pronto una contra podría ser fu falta o no fácil integración con otras herramientas

Una interfaz muy limpia y eficaz para subir las nuevas versiones a la nube

Al principio puede ser tedioso entender el funcionamiento

Sólo posee cliente Windows y Mac, no posee soporte oficial para Linux.

Dentro de la red atalasian, buena aplicacion de escritorio para los que no nos manejamos con la cmd

Lo que mas me gusta es su aplicacion de escritorio para Windows. Puedes gestionar tus repositorios de forma visual.

En general está bien la herramienta, pero si tengo que mencionar algo sería tener más integraciones con otras herraminetas.

Basado en Git, bitbucket permite mergear o generar pull request y hacer seguimiento de versiones de manera sencilla.

Al ser entorno visual, algunas acciones son más lentas que si usasemos la consola de comandos de Git.

I use Jira, Bitbucket and Fisheye.

Bitbucket is excellent when integration with JIRA - it gives the team the ability to easily view status and get updates across systems. It also allows integration with the JIRA release and workflow tools

While Bitbucket is steadily being improved, it does lack a few features that it's main rival Github does. The Pull Release view is probably the main thing here - while it has many of the capabilities of Github, it just lacks some of the polish and ease of use features.

It's in the Atlassian family, and as a Product Development leader already deeply immersed in mostly Atlassian products this has been a game changer. It's very user friendly, and not overwhelming to get new folks onboarded. It's clean and easy.

I wish we could have more permissions for structure with our developers. We do have the premium version which is absolutely fairly priced, I just wish it had a bit more control. Haha, but this could just be my opinion.

It's a great tool for VCS, and you can easily track back commits and changes.

It completes all the DEVOPS Atlassian ecosystem, you have a option for server or sas version and you also have a API in order to implement a lot of extensions or inderactions with the repository.

It must implement stuff like Github and Gitlab in order to be more competitive.

The sand box and the dev ops pipe lines allows you to build carpentmalize and collobaraborte through jira with clients and our team.

The most difficult part was authentication through a shell. It was complex and caused us some lag time.

I could easily setup CI/CD pipelines using BitBucket Pipelines.

I found managing an organization on BitBucket quite difficult.

Bitbucket is like other code management platforms. However, its interface is intuitive and easy to use. It also integrates with Jira and Confluence which makes it easy to manage documentation and tasks.

There is nothing to highlight negatively. Like all these tools, they are not easy to use. However, the interface is well designed and if you have ever used a similar platform, the adaptation will be fast. As the only element, its cost, can be high in relation to the competition.
