I first started using jobber almost 5 years ago when I decided to test out the free trial. Since that day, I have continued using the software and have grown my business over 400%. I think one of my favourite parts about jobber is the level of exceptional customer service; not only online but also in person. Additionally, my work flow for my business has improved a vast amount over the years. Invoicing: What used to take me hours, is now a simple 30 minute task. Quoting: What used to be done on a scrap piece of paper, is now done on my iPhone. Scheduling: What used to be done on excel, is now organized through the online calendar which can be accessed anywhere, anytime. Overall, I would recommend jobber to anyone running a service based business, and would be happy to answer any further questions.

Jobber is overall a 5/5 software system that has been the best thing for helping my business grow. Over the almost 5 years of using Jobber, the only thing I would like to remind people is that once you delete something, there is no way to get it back. I accidentally deleted an invoice once, and it was gone for good. This was my mistake, so as long as you're more cautious than I was that day, you'll be good.

Absolutely amazing. I have never had such a great experience with a customer service team. Just the fact that I'm taking time out of my workday to fill out this survey should say something- they've earned my praise!! I heard from a fellow professional in the industry that customer service was top notch, and that was the deciding factor in why I went with Jobber. Man was he right!! Scheduling software was fairly new to me and I wanted a customer service team that could help me work out the kinks. Jobber has paid for itself time and again with the stress it is taking out of my day and with how easily my crew can communicate things to me about each job.

The thing I like most about the software is the customer service team that comes along with it! EVERY time I've called I reached a live person without 10 minutes of pressing buttons, and every person I've talked to has been extremely knowledgeable about the software and solved my problem very quickly, explaining things in a way that I could easily understand.
Relating strictly to the software iteself, it's very user friendly and can be mastered in no time at all. It syncs easily and effortlessly with QuickBooks and has eliminated our need for double entry of clients. Client info and payment information sync automatically. It has also given us the capability to invoice and take credit card payments online without having to use a third party (and decreased our cc fees at the same time).

Sales tax issues (gross sales vs taxable sales) not syncing correctly with Quickbooks. If a discount is given in the Jobber 'discount' field, it will not show correctly Quickbooks and will log the invoice amount, before discount, as the taxable sales amount, when in reality the number was lower. We found an easy fix to this by adding a line item for 'discounts' so that it comes off of the top. Very slight limit to functions available while using the App. I honestly can't even remember what it was, but obviously it wasn't too important because I got by without it. Neither of these things has caused me any undue stress, but if I have to come up with 'Cons', that would be it.

We've grown from a $30,000 / year hobby business to a $1.2 million dollar business in our fourth year - all built on Jobber's platform. It's hugely reduced admin time, and given us the tools to scale the business and focus on our operations instead of on office admin.

Jobber succeeds because it offers enough of what we need - rock solid invoicing, both one-time and many variations on recurring, mapping, scheduling, accepting online payments, and more, but remains flexible. You can turn on and off the features, so you get what you want, without being tied down with the features you don't.

I wish they had a road map, so I knew what features were coming up, and more opportunities to give input on (small) challenges.

Jobber Payments does not label their transactions with their name, or my business name. So clients see a random charge on their account and do not have a reference where the charge came from. We have had several disputed payments because of this issue. They take some time to resolve.

For Jobber Payments, right now we can't control how the Jobber Payments transaction shows on your clients¿ credit card statements, as this is something solely determined by their bank. We send over the Jobber Payments business name (your company name), your company branding information, and our default statement description of ¿Jobber Powered by Stripe¿. Any or all of those could potentially be listed on your clients¿ statements, so unfortunately we can't say for sure what they'll see. I used to have my crew members write their notes and track their time on client sheets. I then had an employee who collected those papers, input hours into a google sheet, and invoiced through Quick-books online, and managed client information through a different CRM. That employee wound up costing 10% of the monthly income! When they quit, I found Jobber and was able to manage so much more on my own, drastically cutting costs. I have better control over all aspects of my business because of Jobber, and I would highly recommend it to other small service businesses.

The best thing about this software is that it allows a small company to manage most of its administrative and office needs in one place, by one person. It also scales as you get bigger to allow delegation of tasks to other team members.

With the new payment collection options, Jobber has addressed the biggest complaint I had with the software, specifically how to address partial payments.

Jobber has solved a lot of communication issues within our company. It has helped us to become more efficient, and to work better as a team. For me, personally (in an administrative role) it has helped me cut out duplication (before, we were working in three different systems), which means less errors. It also allows a high level of visibility into our business operations which means less confusion for everyone. It's mobile, which means team members in the field can access the information they need to without having to be in front of a computer. This is ideal within our industry. Data is easily managed within the software and can be exported if needed. All-in-all, we're very pleased with Jobber.

The support staff is, bar none, the best I've ever worked with: they respond quickly, they're efficient, and they really want to help you find a solution for whatever questions you may have. The software is easy to use and is extremely linear, which has been a great fit for my team. Jobber is always updating and improving it's features to fit the needs of it's customers.

Because it is so linear, there are times where you cannot easily "undo" certain actions you've performed. You need to do things right the first time, and consistently, if you want your data to be clean. While this is sometimes difficult from an administrative point of view, it has been a good thing for my team--who have had to develop repeatable, efficient processes; something they have not had to do in the past. In short, it has forced us to become more detail oriented and accurate which, again, is sometimes frustrating while first learning the software.

We love jobber, its a great software and has helped us organize the company tremendously!

This software is fast, easy to use and organized. The options to separate a quote into multiple jobs has been detrimental to our business.

Jobber doesnt work well with multiple sales people, you can set defaults but they will be specific to one person. For instance, if you have two estimators and you want the quote to be sent from that specific sales person you will have to go in and change names, company names, etc each time. The default option should have multiple options set to sales persons individually.

A Jobber account allows for just one company's branding, but if you'd like replies for emails to go to different email addresses, you can remove the email address from your settings, which will cause email replies to go to the email address associated with whichever user sent out the email from Jobber. If you have more than one company, it's possible to set up multiple Jobber accounts and have them linked, which also might help with separating branding. Great app for a small business service provider

Overall, we do recommend giving them a try to see if it's a platform you find to fit your needs. We actually have been through a few different ones, each with their pros and cons but Jobber has left us feeling like found the one to build and grow with going forward.

Enjoy that it's function takes into account a few little things that apply to a small service related company that we feel was missed in bigger providers (unless you bought something really robust and costly). We're big fans of the scheduling queue feature and it's click/drag functionality. The mapping function for scheduling/dispatching is very cool and something you typically cannot get for software at this price level, so that's what initially won us over. Also has some customization that is always good to have to help tailor something to YOUR biz.

Though it has some customization, a couple more things would be nice as well as a bit more integration with other software and apps (both of which I'm sure they have in the hopper, just not quite there yet).

I've tried all of the competition, and there's nothing better in my opinion. The price is right, the team is great and they're local to me, and the system is as easy to use as it is powerful.
My guys can do everything from creating clients and quotes, to booking jobs, invoicing and sending review links. They do so totally under the control and supervision of the office -- through Jobber. I actually can't imagine not having Jobber at this point, lets hope they don't raise their rates.

Jobber has been very helpful in saving us time in the office: it is great at record-keeping organization and scheduling appointments, billing is quick and easy, and it releases updates consistently aiming to better the product. Customer service is responsive and generally helpful. Most features are intuitive, although there can be a learning curve since there is so much that Jobber can do. Overall we have been impressed with the quality of the software and would highly recommend it for any similar businesses.

I did have a glitch once when syncing to QuickBooks, but I suspect QB was the problem, rather than Jobber. Even so, Jobber customer support was helpful in resolving the issues that arose.

Jobber has a lot of great features including the ability to easily schedule an appointment in the office or on the go. The app has the same functions/abilities as the desktop version. Technicians have the ability to update jobs while on site to keep customers and office staff up to date on all projects.

While each job we perform is specific for the location, there are a lot of the same pricing line items that are used per service line we provide. It would be nice to be able to group line items together to make pricing more streamlined. Also, while a customer satisfaction survey is available, it needs more customization available and it needs to be available to interface with google or other online review boards.

We used to spend hours every month invoicing through Quickbooks and manually modifying routes on Word. I knew there had to be a better way. After doing research we decided to try Jobber. EVERYTHING is in one place now, invoicing and routing! Everything is automated and is ready as soon as our employees need it. When we first signed up we had a few questions, the Jobber support team was instantly available to help through their chat feature and phone in. We are so happy with Jobber , they are forward thinking and constantly improving their system based on feedback from clients.

Ease of invoicing monthly and scheduling who is where

Scheduling element, and colour coding cleaners. The link directly to invoicing.

We need to be able to see a top level view of which cleaners have which clients on each day of the week - not date specific. So who has Monday cleans, etc... would help us hugely. And printer friendly views for cleaners without smart phones! (we still have some)

I really appreciate the improvements for collecting payments as well as how easy it is to invoice. It has been awesome for the guys in the field to be able to record what they are doing and I can see it in the office and inform clients as things are happening!

The notes sections are a little cumbersome. We have 200 regular service stops a week and the notes we leave on one stop aren't easily accessed in the main client section. You can find them if you go to the individual stop but not in the main client section.

I had one problem with the interface and less 2 months later it was remedied. I never even complained about it, they just fixed it themselves. User friendly, amazing and the best thing that happened to this pest control company since the invention of mice.

We're so glad to have you all on the Jobber team :) Right now a lot of our customers sync with QBO to make payroll seamless with Jobber (maybe you're doing this as well), as timesheets sync over to QBO and you can run payroll from there. I've used Jobber and deployed it training and everything for 2 of my marketing clients.

Customer Support is absolutely stellar level. The UI is so clean and intuitive. Love the calendar views and the custom fields you can create; even color code based on predefined ID triggers. It really is a great tool for business administration; if you prefer not shooting yourself in the head trying to manage a service company! Lol

It is great for the money. I like how they have the app then online for desktop.

They should make more features for the app. We are a mobile business, HVAC, and are not always near a computer. So we enter calls on the road,and to use the texting feature to update the customer it has to be turned on with a computer.

Our operation has changed drastically after switching to Jobber. We love the option to send the email reminder and text message reminder at different times. The new client hub has been long awaited feature too: clients can now log into their Jobber account to see the estimates, invoices and all scheduled appointments.

It's easy to use and you get a lot of useful features without paying separately for them.

Paying a lump sum annually can get tricky for a small business. Also would love to have an option for ical and google invite for clients to add appointments to their own schedule too. The zip codes get messed up in address field but we've found a way to work around that.

Very easy to use, and very good value for money.

Great system! Jobber was a game changer for us with programming and tracking offers and invoices. There are some minor areas that need updating, but apart from that it is a good system. And customer service is very useful ... even when you're impatient and annoying. They have been incredible!

I could do much more with Jobber if they created an integration with Zapier. Without integration, I can not give my clients the automation that could make their incorporation much faster and easier.

I've had a fantastic experience with Jobber thus far! Easy to use overall and if I don't understand something the customer support team are great with helping me out or answering my questions.

Easy to use, fast response from customer support, keeps me MUCH more organized, and helps keep my transactions smooth. Just added Jobber Payment and I'm getting paid more quickly now, too!

Not much. Could be more user friendly with reports, but that's about it for now :)

Jobber is easy to manage and super-efficient for our guys in the field to read and understand after we in the office input the information.

Jobber is very easy to manage. From inputting information to scheduling it is not hard to manage without instruction.

Puntos en contra

The recent changes when creating a client file, the address portion with the auto-fill. It works when it wants to. I'd rather manually input it to make sure of the accuracy.
