Overall I am very pleased with my experience with Minute7 despite some minor issues (that are more than likely personal preference rather than explicit issues with the software). It is easy to use for the users and the administrative team at my company have found it to work best in comparison to other software we have used in the past.

I think the simplicity of the software and the visual display of diverse information (billing, timesheets, etc.) are clear, concise and streamlined for both the user and the administrative team.
Desventajas
I think the biggest issue would be that the input for the data (billable time, expenses, etc.) is streamlined for daily and smaller inputs, in which it becomes cumbersome and clunky when putting in large amounts of data at one time.

Awesome time-entry system

Very easy to use. Synchronizes very well with QuickBooks Online. Also, it didn't require that I get set up as an employee to perform my time entry (whereas most every other time-entry system did). As I am the owner, and not an employee, it was very important that I be able to have a system that allows me to enter my time without the need to file employee tax forms with the IRS through the software.

Nothing, it's been great so far! Keep up the good work!

Long time Minute7 user

We improved our job/service setup time and transfer of information from QB to users and the return of user time entries to QB has been seamless and is a huge time saver over the previous method we had been using.

We first chose Minute7 based on our need for integrating with Quickbooks desktop. Prior to M7 we were using the QB Timer File program that was difficult to keep current and distribute to individual users. The M7 sync with QB lets us set up new customers, projects and service items very quickly and have it instantly available to our employees for charging time and for transferring time back to QB at the end of the week. We also like the options for having a running timer, direct entry of hours or setting start/finish times. The large data field for time entry notes is also very useful.
Desventajas
We miss the previous more columnar interface that was a bit easier to use when reviewing and approving time entries. The current interface is great for the individual employee but not quite as useful for the time reviewer.

Overall we are very happy with the outcome of using minute 7 as part of the finance department. The application has provided the opportunity to better control project budgets and also streamlines some of our accounting deliverables.

The software application allows for quick daily or weekly entries related to specific projects. Love the reports feature and options.
Desventajas
The application was easy to integrate into our platform. I would like for the date to automatically fall under the current day when entering time.

Minute7 - The lowest cost solution for time tracking integration with QuickBooks Desktop

Great product and company. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] does a great job getting back to me quickly Had only a coupe of problems and they have been very responsive both times, and are quick to assist.

The integration with QuickBooks Desktop is perfect for our needs. This was the most critical feature we were looking for, followed by cost.
Desventajas
There is no way to set project budgets for fixed fee projects. For example, we bill hourly in most cases, however we also often work n fixed fee projects. There is no way to set up a project (or subproject) with a budget that allows the user to see how much time (or money) has been put into the project already. If they had this transparency of not only their time, but the time that others billed to a job, it would help avoid cost overruns and allow for more seamless change orders to clients before the budget is blown.

Excellent time & expense tracking for our size organization

Really, I chose it from about 10 different candidates, and it is an excellent fit for us. Not laden with features I have to work around to ignore. Enables us to manage just as we want.

This software was able to mirror almost exactly what we were doing manually, so virtually no training or up time required. Additionally, it added electronic expense submission, Quick Books integration, and on-demand reporting, significant time savers for every user function.
Desventajas
Initially, assigning the classes was a little confusing because of them having to be in QB before we could see them... so from our perspective, backwards in how we work typically. But after we got used to that, all good.
Lastly, it would be nice as the administrator, if I had an admin section and a user section like everyone else so when keeping my own time and expenses I could only see the stuff specifically applicable to my day-to-day work. But, we're small so not a big deal.

Very positive except for the issues with the last update, which almost caused us to investigate other time and expense reporting options as the issues persisted for approximately 2 weeks.

Easy and simple Timesheet

My overall experience has been great with Minute7. My timesheets prior to Minute7 were done on excel speadsheets and definitely not as easy as Minute7.

Multi-Project Mastery

I like how easy it is, how I can track, make changes, and submit time and handle multiple projects

I am often involved in a multitude of projects where some are just sstarting, some are in mid-term and some are finishing. Keeping track of time across all of them is really easy with Minute 7 and setting up the projects appears quick for my admin as well
Desventajas
The reports for the time entered are not as easy to find and generate and then us, send, print, etc. I know that Minute 7 is connected to QuickBooks but in my case I like to use the tracked time for invoicing the clients who I am completing the projects for and that is not really part of how Minute 7 seems to be setup. Not all seat holders are employees of a company to which the time is reported in Quickbooks.

The lack of autofill for certain entries that I make every day, such as "review and revision,' or "conference with," etc. Prior software I used could be customized so that typing "rr" and a space would autofill "review and revision of," and typing "tcw" and a space would autofill "telephone conference with." This feature would reduce the amount of time consumed by typing frequently used phrases.

Great for keeping track

Have had maybe one problem in using for several years, and that was likely not the software's fault. Easy to sign in, edit.

Software is very easy to learn and use; simple, but does what you want and need.
Desventajas
My only complaint is I don't know how to print a quick and easy daily summary report .. I like to have a printed copy to check off when I have to verify my weekly timesheets later in the month. I just do a print screen, but it cuts off some items when there are a lot. Maybe I'm not using it right, but it also is a pain to have it continually open on my browser and then I often accidentally close it when I'm closing another search window, just out of habit.

Not my place to address the "bigger" business issues, but it does allow for easy tracking of time project-by-project. It's simple to use, especially for basic time-keeping/tracking. It does appear to have a number of features to enable very granular tracking of time - though our business needs don't really require their use.

Good tool for small business, additional features would be nice

I like that the software is easily accessible for all of our employees and that it allows for reasonably easy time entry. The ability to calculate mileage with a customizable mileage rate is also a nice feature.
Desventajas
I preferred the reports that were available in the previous version. I liked when I could run a quick report and view the results on screen; now the only results onscreen are aggregated totals and any detail must be viewed in a downloaded report. I miss being able to get a very quick update on project progress.

Minute7 is user friendly, easy to navigate and love the reminder feature, it's great! With our busy schedule, we tend to forget entering the number of hour/s we worked but thanks to the Minute7 reminder feature, I receive an email dot 7AM Eastern saying, 'don't forget to enter your hours for yesterday',..so overall a pretty cool tool to login your hours.
Desventajas
To be honest, I have no complaints and whenever I've had any issue, the customer service is pretty prompt, resolved my issue in no time.

Minute7 Time and Billing Tracking

It's done everything that we wanted it to do: tracks billable employee time and expenses and pulls them into a client invoice in QuickBooks. We're now able to prepare annual reports of the amount of time we're spending on each client's engagement and adjust fees accordingly.

Would like to be able to undock the timer from the browser page and move to a corner of the screen.

It can sometimes be difficult to ensure that time is entered correctly when you have access to other employees time. I would like more keyboard shortcuts for entering time.

Desventajas
High memory requirements. Reports are more difficult to use than previous versions. Easier to make mistakes when it comes to entering time versus viewing all employee entries. Unable to use phone app (log in credentials do not work for some reason).

It's been great, I have been using it for 6 years now. It can be tedious if you have different customers/service codes but the system works hand in hand with our internal systems

Not intuitive to learn how to use

Desventajas
When I first started using Minute 7, it was not intuitive to learn. Also once the filters and report formatting are removed, I cannot put them back on. I don;t like it when an entry for the day goes down to the bottom of all entries for the week so that I cannot see it. Being an hourly employee, that's important so I can track how many hours I have worked in a day.

Time tracking made easy

Keeps precise track of my time on projects. Allows me to print and store my week-to-week activities. Our accounting person loves that she can grab our time sheets from anywhere to perform payroll and job costing.
Desventajas
The only thing I wish it had was the ability to save my choices of what to save & print in my time sheet. Out of the 15 items that could be in a weekly report, I only need 8; I am forced to DE-SELECT ALL and re-check those 8 boxes each week. It's not a deal-breaker, but it would be nice if I could save my personal choices.

The option to change your weeks so you can see your hours for the whole month or just a few days is very helpful.
Desventajas
I wouldn't say anything is hard. the only thing I would like to see is being able to see your total hours per category. So if i log a bunch of deferent hours to one client I can see an overall.

Honest Review

We use the software to integrate with Q.B. so we can have a job cost per customer. This way we can evaluate customers, and understand which customers use the majority of our time. This is very valuable, when it comes to profitability of the company and billing of he customers.

Desventajas
The reports total by customer. I wish the time sheet totaled by customer. I also wish there was a place for employees to log arrival time and departure time.

Bang for your Buck

Very smooth and user-friendly. I highly recommend this tool for easy, reliable timesheets entries into Quickbooks.

This is a very easy tool for syncing timesheets and expense reports to Quickbooks. The learning curve is quick. Appreciate the tech support if/when needed. You do get more bang for the buck with this product. You will NOT be disappointed!
Desventajas
The expense reporting could be easier to use when attaching expense receipts and syncing those into Quickbooks. But, not a dealbreaker.

I liked the old version of Minute 7 better

Not everyone wants to do monthly scheduling so sometimes it's hard to tally what the totals are. I liked the old version better.

It is pretty intuitive on how to use it.
Desventajas
The old version was simpler to use. Sometimes when the month changes mid-week, I have to go in and tweak it so I can see what the previous hours were when I'm double checking my hours.
