Tiene muchas ventajas en el cual proporciona una amplia variedad de pruebas predefinidas y personalizables que abarcan habilidades técnicas, cognitivas y de personalidad. también se adapta la interfaz y las comunicaciones a la marca de tu empresa; Automatiza el proceso de evaluación, lo que ahorra tiempo en comparación con métodos tradicionales de selección y entrevistas permitiendo una toma de decisiones más justa y fundamentada al evaluar a los candidatos.

La prueba gratuita está limitada , si deseas una personalización más profunda y precisa de la interfaz de usuario y las comunicaciones está limitado, no se integra con otros sistemas, y si usas la parte paga del software es muy costoso.Además el area de soporte sus tiempos de respuesta son lentos o falta de asistencia en ciertos aspectos.

In a small company I wear many hats and do not have time to set up assessments and tests to get proper review of candidates. This allowed me to set up what I needed to sift through candidates to ensure I was bringing in the proper person for the job.

I'd like to see the questions the candidates answered.

TestGorilla is actually really good when it comes to challenge applicants to perform really well, as the overall difficulty of the assessments makes the test unforgivable as you have to be like really concentrated. This helps us a lot because it makes the filtering process easier to advance in other steps of the recruitment process.

The only thing that I think makes the assessment a little bit complicated for the applicants is the full-screen + camera monitoring, for us it's actually really good because it ensures that the test is done by one person, but for the applicant's side, makes them uncomfortable and may affect a little the whole recruitment overall experience.

The test categories are more than enough, so there is no category where we have a test.

It was costly & wasn't cost-efficient at all.

The app is easy to use and integrates already a great number of tests and questions ideas. It clearly makes the implementation easy.

The app misses some flexibility in terms of answer durations, amount of questions, etc.
The candidate review process could clearly be improved (switch from one test to another, avoid popups, etc.).

Easy to use & fairly intuitive, modern software

It’s not very pleasing to look at as a candidate- that could be redesigned. Would be great if it were more gamified, have more pictures and not be so word heavy across most of the different assessments. The test where candidates pick their top 10 personal attributes/ behaviours/ competencies/ strengths & it’s meandered against what the client has pre selected that they’re looking for could be more sophisticated… we’ve had client feedback that they want us to measure competencies like this test, but that this is too basic/ more prone to people guessing what they think the client will want from them & putting that in rather than the truth… that’s possible in any test, yes, but other tests are better at having measures against that.

Instead of digging through 50+ resumes, you sort on candidates' test scores. Using testgorilla's assesment as an entry point for your selection procedure gives an amazing filter to only let smart, capable, candidates into your further procedure.

I've both selected and not selected candidates that we otherwise would have missed, or would have been an unproductive use of our and their time.

In the interviews we had with the top 5 test-takers we could focus solely on personality and culture fit, having the confidence already that a candidate can perform on a certain level.

Moving forward, we will never post a job offer again without using a pre-selection assessment to filter candicates.

When used in comination with a job board, we've found candidates that did the test but did not apply, did apply but forgot the test, or did both as meant to happen.

This lead to checking and comparing of both lists of people. This can be prevented by using Testgorilla as the main recruitment tool

I honestly have no pros I can say about the product.

The pricing model is not easy to understand.
The free trial is barely a trial.
You cannot see the questions to know if it is a good test.
Support is dismal and takes days to get back to you.
We barely used the product and had our first candidate have difficulty taking the test.
The beware part, they state nothing in their terms as far as a refund which they would not grant the refund even though we explained the difficulty of all of the above.
You pay yearly, so if you do not like it, you are crap out of luck.

It's very easy to use and it's not as troublesome and expensive as other alternatives. You can create an assessment for a role in less than 5 minutes.
The scoring is very pertinent and it shows you how a candidate performs over different topics of a same area.

The ability to customize pre-made quizzes, for example in my case most of my applicants are not native English speakers and they take a little bit more time to understand the questions and scenarios, and really strong candidates tend to score very low at the end of the test because the time wasn't enough.
I would like to customize the times per area of expertise or even each question, also I'd like to create custom-made tests using certain questions from the pre-made tests.

Not much. They charge for something that is mostly for free

The entire software really. The tests are not predictive for performance. The customer service is non-existent, they don't even allow you to cancel your subscription or delete your profile. All you can do is change to a free plan. Naturally, if you are that bad you do not want to see customers go that fast

The tests are easy to set up but the quality of them is questionable and the goal seems to be to lock you into a long term contract.

Technical tests are lacking and not on a level with the competition. The customer service policy seems to be to tell you what you want to hear until you're off the phone then send you an email to the contrary. I wouldn't recommend this product at all and would strongly suggest using only the free trial if essential. They require payment upfront and are not willing to have a constructive discussion about returning any of that money in the event the product doesn't live up to expectation.

User friendly, no/limited prep required for candidates (length of assessment given it's short), gives clarity on cheating, easy to navigate, ability to score/ rank candidates on multiple dimensions, flexibility to add/ take-out assessment elements

No option to provide candidates with preparation to practice

I love this tool! We used it to find a Customer service agent for our company Sukhi: we had over 1200 applications! Can you imagine how much work it would have been if we had to go through their CVs and emails one-by-one?
The average test score is my favorite tool: a great way to distinguish between the candidates. Plus the option to ask the candidates to add a video: it gives a very good first impression combined with their test results.

The software is very clear and logical, no negative feedback.

TestGorilla is a simple candidate testing platform. One of the best things about it is the diversity of premade assessments / tests from electricity to health and safety.

There are some bugs on the platform but the team is quick in responding to its defects.
