Tech support is useless. They tell me everything should be working but it doesn’t. My web developer tried multiple fixes and swears its on shippos end.

Shippo is very affordable and easy to use. Their customer service is eager to help out if there are any website problems or syncing problems and can be reached at any time. We have never had a problem using this software.
Desventajas
There are virtually no problems with this company or its software. We have used them for about 2 years and we will continue to use them if their pricing stays affordable.

The software is easy to use, automatically integrates with our Square online store, and saves time not having to wait in line at the post office. The fact that the program itself is free to use is amazing, as well.
Desventajas
We use a Word doc with Avery labels for our shipping labels. It would be great if we could create a custom label template to work with this set up. Currently, we just edit the size of the PDF that is downloaded.

We initially chose Shippo when we started our online store through Square because we wanted the lowest start up cost for our cost for our online store when it launched. Easy to use. Anyone can basically key in customer info to creating a return label and even choosing the available shipping rates. What I also love is that, it is prepare service too. I am not too sure on this, but I get charges after my orders have been delivered to my customers

I can print shipping labels easily, and they have a good discount on most carriers. The software is easy to understand and use, and we transitioned seamlessly from our old provider.
Desventajas
When you try to send a tracking email, it drops the ball. It does not let me look at the email to be sent or verify the email address, and simply flashes an "email sent" screen. It does this even if the recipient does not have a known email address. Sine we have low shipping volume, I simply send the emails myself.

Customer Service Problems!

Customer service is not capable of handling basic problems. Shippo "accidentally" reused a USPS...
Customer service is not capable of handling basic problems. Shippo "accidentally" reused a USPS tracking number too soon. So old data was still present on the current label. It's been 4 days and they haven't been able to do anything at all. They haven't offered a refund, to assist with insurance. It's clear they don't know what to do. They actually said at one point, "we're not responsible" even though tracking was purchased and issued through them.
My emails don't get a response, live chat just says "we've asked USPS" and nothing moves forward.
Sometimes live chat is available. Sometimes it's not. It's not based on days of the week or times of day. It's just random.
Also, yes they do have hidden surcharges with every carrier and no they won't help you dispute them. They just said "the dispute was sided with the carrier" but any other shipping software allows you to provide detailed information and with every other shipping software they side with the shipper.

This product was super easy to learn and implement! Everything is broken down in a user-friendly fashion. There are separate locations for orders run through shippo and orders proceed through a different application making it easy to navigate and search. Tracking numbers are displayed with a clickable link so no need to hit extra buttons just to find what you are looking for.
Desventajas
The search function can be a little difficult. If you are looking for a particular say first and last name. The search will bring up every order that has something similar. EX. Looking for a Sally Miller, all orders with the name Sally will come up, even if the last name was searched.

I have loved doing my order fulfillment with Shippo. Having a platform that could show me my options for carrier/speed/rate is extremely helpful and it allows us to very seamlessly fulfill orders for our customers! 10/10 recommended to anyone shipping packages!

I use it for multiple businesses and have recommended it over rivals for ease of use and a simplistic layout. I am learning more each year. I run two different e-commerce platforms and I have the ability to choose which I want to ship from. I mostly use shippo if the volume is over 3-4 packages to ease the burden at the local post office.
To my delight, shippo has never seemed to go offline at least while i'm using it

No real cons, sometimes you are paying a few cents more than another commercial carrier for USPS but I cannot seem to figure out how its calculated.
I wish it there was a mobile app just for tracking shipments outgoing.
I have had a few issues with international addresses not being recognized but a quick google search resolves the isue.

I love the ability to see all the shipping options available to me so that I can easily pick the right product. This is particularly helpful when considering the different ways to use USPS Priority Mail. I am confident that I always am able to easily select the most cost effective shipping option for my product and destination.
Shippo's customer service is also outstanding. Because of a training issue at our local post office, my company was assessed a number of label surcharges by the USPS due to a USPS postal clerk putting multiple items on the scale at one time. Shippo handled the situation by filing disputes on my behalf saving me a lot of time.

I love that both my website sales and my Etsy shop sales can flow into Shippo so that order management and shipping label purchases can be done from one platform.
Desventajas
I love it! It just is so much easier than other platforms I've used. There isn't anything I'd change.

I didn't like the fact that Etsy was using a 3rd party vendor for my International orders. This practice was causing my International orders to sit in the US awaiting a bulk shipment to the destination country and the time the orders sat was sometimes upwards of 4 weeks. It's nice to know everything I need will be in one place and I can search for problems before I reach out to their team for more information. It's rare that my problem and troubleshooting aren't available in their help system.

I love the adaptability and software applications that I can use. I have discovered several spaces where I needed to streamline or needed an application function(s) that were already synced and functional with Shippo. Their customer service is OTC- Off The Charts- responsive and very empathetic to a sometimes overwhelmed solopreneur.
Desventajas
I would like to be able to update the look of the dashboard with weekly stats/updates available to show how much Shippo saves me time and energy.

Overall my experience has been a 10/10. In about 90% of shipments the rates on shippo are the best and the process is the quickest I’ve used.

The setup was a breeze and the rates are extremely competitive. One of my favorite features is the auto fill function with addresses. Payment is very straightforward and I enjoy reviewing the monthly reports on all my shipments.
Desventajas
The only negative I can say is that occasionally the auto fill on the address will pull something that is incorrect. I’ve had one package be shipped to the wrong address because of this. Luckily the address didn’t exist so the package was returned, but it took a full week to get it back and we had to reimburse the customer for the delay.
I would suggest creating a review/confirm field after you click buy that allows you to review the final label for accuracy prior to it being purchased. I would have caught the error that way.

So I wanted something that charged per shipment and not a minimum cost just to have an account. Shippo makes it easy to compare shipping options based on cost, arrival time, etc... and helps track deliveries. Also, it's a one stop shop for price comparison, printing labels, package tracking and maintaining a log of shipments, for future use.

It is so easy to fill out the form and see what my best shipping options are. Once I have printed my shipping label I can request pick up from USPS. It makes shipping so much easier than it used to be.
Desventajas
I've had numerous added charges for shipping. USPS saying the package weighed more than I entered. I know this happens but the charges are from months ago (sometimes 4 to 5 months later). So it is hard to follow ups on.

I like the easy integration and streamlined packing and shipping for my business. I can group similar weighted items and print labels in batches along with free manifest forms that make it easy for USPS to handle my packages in bulk.
Desventajas
It would be useful to have a data export feature for shipments. Logistic data analytics would help small businesses more!

We're not 100% sure if a feature like this is what you are referring to, but we wanted to note that we do have an "Export" feature within our Shipments page. By exporting shipments within a specified timeframe, you're able to look at all the details (tracking number, shipping carrier, label amount, shipping address, etc.) of all shipments. The ease of integration with my hosting/processing company was exceptional. The shipping rates are lower than many other alternatives.
Desventajas
I wish it were easier to create a new one-off order entry from within Shippo or to obtain rates without having to create a new entry and then hide it afterwards since it can't be deleted. There really needs to be an easier way to reprint a label after the initial pop-up is gone.

Shippo is extremely easy to use! It has been a game changer for my business, literally no taping labels to boxes anymore, no waiting to track orders, no having to personally communicate with customers about their order, no having to translate from my business to shippo and orders, Shippo does all of that!
Desventajas
The only con is that I wish there was a delete and a hide button instead of just a hide button, because I don’t want to have to look at orders that were picked up/dropped off, that will never get shipped. I want to be able to delete. Definitely not a deal breaker though, it’s an OCD thing.

Costumer service can be a hit or miss when it comes to both knowledge and timing.
Invoice are a bit confusing, not sure when they charge an invoice, but it gets old seeing so many invoice in a day instead of one large bill at the end. This also can cause confusion with the bank.

Great software for generating shipping labels

I love how easy it use overall. Easy to pull up past customers so you generate another label for the same customer & tweak the package settings for the new package.
Also the email alerts for the customer are huge. They get notified when I ship & when it's delivered. So it reduces the customer support requests asking for status of their package.

I do wish their search for past labels was easier. For example, if I am looking for "Matthew", and search for "Matt" it will return no results.

This platform makes my life so much easier without costing me anything. They seem like a great company with a genuine customer centered and improvement focused attitude.
Puntos a favor
It is a great value for the money. It was very easy to get started with, and has continued to grow and refine itself as I have grown. It's flexible and has allowed me to understand how shipping works while saving me time and money from standing in line at the post office.
Desventajas
It can be slow at times due to extraneous clicks required to get different pieces of information needed for different types of sales. It can also be lacking in features/information at times, but 9/10 times the information is there; it just needs a little digging to uncover. At the end of the day though this is essentially a free platform, and anything I'm lacking I should be maintaining on my own systems.
