I was astounded by how flexible and feature-rich the platform is. You can instantly tell how much thought has gone into this product over the years. It has been developed in a way that can support so many different configurations its amazing.
Desventajas
I feel like it can be easy to get lost in what workspace or line you are in when navigating different tabs and roadmaps. You have to pay close attention to where you are so that you see what you are actually looking for at any given time.

They really have thought of everything! The platform has such comprehensive functionality, everything you could need to plan, deliver and communicate your product releases. With so much content, it's a tough job to ensure users can easily learn and get value from the platform but this company is Best in Class at demo's; KB articles, how to videos and live training sessions. Everything is super clear and easy to learn. Why wouldn't you want this as a Product Manager?
Desventajas
Sometimes the sheer volume of "what's possible" can be overwhelming. Simple things can be hard to figure out because you didn't notice this one setting that is active. With that said, the times that I have needed to figure something out, the articles are super clear and the response time for support is unreal.

In the initial onboarding process I would contact customer support for clarity, seeing as how I've never used such a software. I had one phone call, fairly short. I was later tasked with sole responsibility for the software - evangelizing and coaching others on how to use it. When I reached out to support for more clarity, the reps did EVERY possible not to get on a call with me. They would email me back every other day - directing me to instructional videos - refusing to get on the phone. I needed to integrate with Jira, "Please HELP!!??"- guess what? "We have some videos that can help you.
Awful support.
As well, not very user friendly, not customizable, and just down right inferior cosmetically.

Overall I love it. I've moved more and more of my companies planning and roadmapping discipline into Aha and will continue pushing for more use of the tool.

The ability to customize almost all aspects of Aha make it the choice for power users. If I can imagine it, I can probably do it. And when I can't figure out how to do it, Aha's team of professionals are there to help you out every time. The company isn't sitting on their laurels either, the engagement with customers on the Ideas portal is very active and features are constantly being added and improved.
Desventajas
Integration with other tools can be complex to set up, or missing for many tools. Jira integration is very important for my company, but it doesn't always have the capabilities I'd like. I'd also like to see better integration with collaboration tools like Slack, LucidSpark and PowerPoint. I realize Aha is building competitive tools for most of those, but they are not, as of yet, mature enough to make the switch to using them.

Product Management Choice

Aha is a powerful tool that gives you ability to customize the core product around how your team does its job. The easy integrations with engineering development tools like Azure DevOps or Jira make it an accurate status reporting tool for product teams while allowing engineering functions to do their execution work elsewhere. The dashboards and reports in Aha are super powerful and it's the only way we report on roadmaps and status. And finally the Ideas portal with Ideas advanced allows us to be in touch with our customers in a meaningful way and let's us communicate internally and externally about what's coming next for our products.
Desventajas
The cost of a license is not cheap, and it took my business a long time to convince senior executives to allow us to get the Ideas Advanced licensing. It would have been really helpful if Ideas Advanced could have been enabled for a subset of users or a product line within a corporate tenant account.

Visualization and big idea level

We've tried a few project management programs and although we didn't decide ultimately to go with Aha long term (see cons below for why) individual users on our team (including myself) still use it for some long term strategy planning. The visualization process is really the best in the market.
Desventajas
We couldn't use this as our main project management because of cost, in order to justify the cost I would have made a case that their customer service was more robust than it was. I can always get the info I need, but less tech savvy people had a harder time figuring things out without the hand holding that their customer service just doesn't easily provide.

Aha!'s data model is robust and flexible to account for our unique way of running our business. The reporting and notes/collaboration tools allow us to consolidate all of our PM-based efforts into a single system. This helps keep everyone aligned, organized and efficient.
Desventajas
Because the application is so robust, there are some workflows sub-optimal user experiences (e.g. accessing views and report versions, creating capacity plans) that make onboarding new users cumbersome.

The exceptional Support Team has made all the difference in how we've been able to effectively use Aha! to manage projects. They REALLY do respond in a couple hours, the chat function is fantastic for quick questions, and it's very easy to schedule time to talk through more complex topics. The quality of the knowledge base, video tutorials and regularly offered trainings are the best I've experienced. Behind all that is a knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful team of Support folks.

Aha! provides a comprehensive set of tools to allow our teams to track work from an initial thought through to completion. Using Aha! we managed an extremely complex software implementation with multiple integrations and were able to track the work at varying levels of detail while always knowing status. Aha!'s My Work dashboard, assignment and commenting capabilities ensured our team members, with minimal effort, could readily identify their work, call out and address roadblocks and communicate progress. Team members who are more interested in doing the work than saying what work they did are converts to the value of Aha!, praising searchability, ease of use and a central repository for all the critical information.
Desventajas
Determining the workspace structure proved challenging for us and we are still trying to decide what's the right configuration. Still, there's really no wrong way to set it up and the flexibility and adaptability of the product will allow us to evolve our structure to meet our evolving organization's needs.

The layout of the sprint and features is really well done. I do enjoy the look of AHA vs other competitors that I have used. It’s really easy to use and the mobile app is a nice feature.
Desventajas
I really don’t care for the search functionality of AHA. I think that I don’t always find things in the way I search or use keywords. A keyword might be in a ticket but it isn’t always found.

So many features and capabilities - maybe too many but you can limit what is viewable and grow as you need. Every day I'm discovering new ways to use the product. And their support is outstanding.
Desventajas
Number of features and customization. Ok - not much of a negative but you really need to look at how you want to use the tool. I'm limiting what it can do as we roll it out and plan to extend capabilities over time.

I'm just starting to get into using it in the last 2 weeks and using it to present my roadmap to business users, integrated with all of the sprint work that I plan using JIRA. The integration works great! I really love using these products together! I'm excited to get even more familiar with what JIRA can do!

The JIRA integration is critical to my successful use of this tool as all of our sprint work is planned within JIRA!The Customer Support team is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! They are all incredibly good at what they do and they get back to me just lightning fast whenever I have a question. Thank you so much!

It's a little hard to navigate to some areas. I have a difficult time finding where integrations are configured and I sometimes can't locate the detailed error log when an integration fails.

Its a huge product that is critical for our product managers. The customer support is the best I've seen. The response rate in quick (approx an hour) and its very friendly! Extremely helpful!

We like the ability to standardise our product management processes and data model across teams that had historically operated in different ways. Integration with Jira makes it easy to reflect development work being done with limited manual intervention required. The support team is always great and prompt to respond to queries. Good communication on new/upcoming features, too.
Desventajas
Some small improvements could go a long way for us - prioritisation views for initiatives, clearer record rankings, more configurability of the nicer-looking roadmap views, and so on. Additional configurability in user licenses would also be really beneficial (i.e. adding advanced functionality for just a subset of users) as there are some add-ons that could add a lot of value to some users but aren't always needed by all.

The editing UI is fantastic and their support team is super responsive. I don't use a lot of the features because I am only a part time product owner, but I love most of what I've used.

The reports could be more intuitive to locate and the filtering could use some work (support Like/Contains would be nice).

It is user friendly while being extremely robust as you get deeper into the functionality. So far I've found that almost everything is possible in Aha and sometimes just takes a little thought on how you want to achieve it that will fit your organization.
Desventajas
I can't say there is anything that I don't like about this software. We're in the middle tier package and anything I would mention here is included in the highest tier.
