Great for monitoring employee feedback

We use this for quick "pulse" type surveys, as well as our annual overall employee satisfaction survey. It's been great for this purpose, and the reporting/drilling-down is just what we need.
We've even done simple surveys like what kind of food/lunches people like, or SWAG. I like that you can upload photos/graphics to the answer set to make the survey more appealing.

QuestionPro provides an easy set-up format to receive direct feedback from our participants with the Bluegrass Golf Tour. This is extremely valuable information that can be used to improve our program through the results of the surveys. Net Promoter score results bring great comparative analysis year over year.
Desventajas
QuestionPro gives our non-profit everything we need in a survey company, and I can't think of any drawback to using their service.

Very bad. I compare it with Qualtrics that I was using for 8 years and I can definitely tell it's way below when it comes to reliability, overall efficiency and user experience.
Whenever I try to work on QuestionPro, I never know if I'm able to login, if the system doesn't crash or if respondents are able to fill in the study.
I submit requests to client support at least a couple of times per month.

Nothing - while the product has a lot of potential (I can see lots of smart solutions and ideas), the low stability, low efficiency, and countless bugs kill it all.
Desventajas
Very low efficiency, very low reliability, many bugs. I've been using QuestionPro for 9 months now and I can count many issues: not possible to login, not possible to upload databases, bugs not allowing respondents to close the study, the system does not allow to perform multiple tasks at once. I could count more and more... Definitely, it is not a system for professionals.

We host multiple surveys on QuestionPro and many use question branching. We also appreciate the cross-tab analytics as well as the powerpoint reports and full data set presentation.

QuestionPro is exactly what we need as a small non-profit: access to robust survey design features, including branching, and the analytics and reports to really dig into the data. No other survey programs offer this at the non-proft level. Helping non-profits succeed is a wonderful gift.
Desventajas
As a small organization, we don't need much so being a low priority makes sense and isn't usually an issue. The few times we do need help, responsiveness can be a challenge.

Great spam prevention tools, customizable question types, and logic options. This is a full-service survey tool and has been excellent for our nonprofit. We appreciate the free nonprofit license.
Desventajas
No major cons - we don't use all of the functionality and customizability, and we like that we don't need to.

Our overall experience has been very good. For the types of surveys we do as local government, we have been able to meet our needs with the 'non-profit' license just fine.

We get nearly everything the software offers on our non-profit account. Support has traditionally been very responsive for us!
Desventajas
There are just a few limitations with the non-profit account, but they are mostly things we rarely need anyway. We recently stumbled upon a limitation that left us baffled: some complex questions aren't included in the analytics dashboard. But there isn't even a list of them to refer to ahead of time. Also, limited to just one person that can use it.

Desventajas
Not really any cons. The non-profit version naturally has some functionality that is locked. Paying for those functions may be a barrier for some.

Surprisingly Easy

I wasn't exactly thrilled to be responsible for finding a new survey tool and implementing it but QuestionPro was surprisingly easy to work with and it was a much simpler process than I had anticipated. We are getting more data and making the most of it with QuestionPro.

I like QuestionPro because it is easy to set up and use. I was able to quickly import the contact list and get the new survey out. Actually creating the survey was no problem. It's a simple process and you can customize it pretty much any way you want. The results are easy to view.
Desventajas
There isn't anything negative that sticks out in my mind. We weren't offered any discount but the price is fair so that's okay.

We use QuestionPro to send post-class surveys to participants. It has made the organization of feedback incredibly easy and therefore actionable. While Google Surveys is free, it doesn't have the functionality/scalability of QuestionPro.

We really enjoy that QuestionPro is a one-stop shop for all our surveying needs. Everything gets fed into one system rather than dozens of individual Google Surveys.
Desventajas
Being more robust than Google Surveys, there is a learning curve with QuestionPro. Depending on the user, it might take you a couple hours to get fully comfortable with the software.

Desventajas
QuestionPro offers a lot of variety in the type of questions that can created, but there have been a few instances where the ideal type was not available and we had to opt for an alternative type.

Best Software for Our Non-Profit

Easy to use on both sides—survey creation and for survey participants. Customer service seems to always be available by chat and very helpful. We are a non-profit organization and data collection is of utmost importance. QuestionPro was a perfect fit for our needs and organizes the data in an easy to read and easy to use format.
Desventajas
Some of the functions are more advanced for our needs (which are basic), so we had a little difficulty the first time we created a survey. However, customer service was always available to walk us through it and now we are able to use the functions to our advantage.

Our experience with QuestionPro has been extremely positive. Surveys and community information are critical parts of our organizational mission. QuestionPro has allowed us to gather important data to analyze programs as well as serving as a robust program engagement platform.

We have been using QuestionPro for over five years. The platform provides a rich feature set - ease of duplicating and creating new surveys, managing distribution of surveys, information about status of completion for us to follow up, useful set of analytics of results. QuestionPro is an integral part of our operations.
Desventajas
As a non-profit user, we have to renew our subscription every year. But we don't get reminders about pending expiration so we often have to take care of things at the last minute.

QP has been a critical tool for our nonprofit to measure the satisfaction of our customers' experience. The question types help us refine our questions to get just the data we need. The report helps us know where we are succeeding and where we need to put more effort to become a better organization.
Desventajas
Having to renew the annual subscription after completing all the requirements for a nonprofit license. Would be great if the subscription was for more than 1 year.

At the height of the pandemic in 2020, the ECML, in cooperation with a network of international partners (INGOs), designed a survey using QuestionPro to look at how the Covid emergency and the accompanying lockdowns and move to online/hybrid teaching formats had impacted upon education (and specifically language education) in Europe. The in-depth survey, taking approximately 30 minutes to complete, received 1,750 responses from language teachers in 40 states. We were most impressed by the user friendliness of the application and functionality it offered. The survey which used two working languages, included discrete, multiple-choice and open text items, provided a wealth of data (among others, eliciting some 4,150 detailed comments which were then analysed using critical discourse methods). The high quality of the reports generated by QuestionPro and the ease with which the data gathered could be processed proved very important to the overall success of the survey. It led to a subsequent project which extended the target group to language learners and policy makers – ultimately enabling the ECML to identify key lessons that could be drawn for the future and to develop and publish a set of policy guidelines on supporting the development of language education.

We are really happy with the tool. It is a great support in getting participant feedback and having a swift overview/report just after our events. We also use it for a feedback/reviewing process on research papers and it has proved to be helpful here as well. The design options are good and flexibel, so we can adjust layouts and the look &feel as we want. Also, we value the adjustable final "Thank You! " pages, which we use for putting up additional information for those finishing the survey.

I like the clear design, which helps to understand which kind of questions and survey options are available. The software offers loads of options, but I feel the set-up really helps to navigate different options, even for those who are not so familiar with market research.
Desventajas
If you have loads of surveys in parallel or keep a lot in the archive, it might be a bit cumbersome to keep the overview, but maybe our titeling could also be improved. I would need to look into the sorting options again. Probably there is something there, which I did not apply.

I would recommend this product to any nonprofit who needs to collect data on a regular basic. But know that sometimes it has more functionality than you might need for basic surveys which can be somewhat intimidating.

We started using QuestionPro as it was a free alternative for surveying learners after educational programing. It has been relatively easy to use and as a small nonprofit, it has been nice to have a free platform with so much capability.
Desventajas
This program seems incredibly robust and able to handle complicated surveys and data collecting. Sometimes it is a little too smart and full of features for our needs. I wish it were a little more user friendly or had a more "basic" platform option. But can't argue with the price!
