Seismic is easy to navigate. Being able to do full searches or narrow down searches through folder selection makes life so much easier.
Desventajas
I would consider this a admin issue more than anything but sometimes folder structures can be too complicated which can result in searching being difficult.

Seismic works well as a database. If all you want is a strict CMS used by marketing, but not necessarily for customer-facing delivery of content then Seismic is quite good.
Desventajas
Seismic is really, really bad when it comes to enabling sellers to create relevant, timely, and valuable messaging for customers. The micro-site / digital sales room functionality is extremely weak. Customers do not engage. Highspot is much better in this regard... which isn't difficult.

Overall we're happy with the platform. Marketing and Sales are having more conversations and content is being used. The platform adoption data has been critical with sharing with business leads so our conversations are informed about what's working and who is using.

The content library and bulk upload allows us to keep our sales enablement content clean, tagged and current. The integration with Salesforce and Outlook was simple to set up and deploy.
Desventajas
Without having a highly-technical dedicated internal resource, deployment and setup took a lot longer than we would've liked. Also, we weren't given an "ideal state" checklist so we didn't know what features and components were necessary to exist. The community is extensive and the knowledge base is very in-depth but it was difficult to navigate.

I think some of the product enhancements give sellers too much freedom when it comes to editing marketing collateral.

It's been great. Being able to access documents for not only myself but my team has been imperative to our success and sales cycle.

Being able to retrieve the latest version of a document is incredibly important for our team. Seismic always have everything updated. No need to download a copy, every time you search for it, you can leverage the latest copy and update the document.
Desventajas
One would be the mobile app, which I didn't know existed until I saw the previous questions. That would help a ton. Other than that, not many cons to this software

Overall, I am very happy with Seismic and would recommend it to any sales organization. It helps us send our clients marketing material easily while remaining in compliance, as well as gain insight into who clicks on the email and how much time they spend reviewing the material. This is an excellent tool!

My team frequently utilizes the Seismic LiveSend feature, which enables us to email sales pamphlets to 20 clients at a time. When clients click on the Doc Link in the email, we are notified, so we know how to better focus our efforts.
Desventajas
I feel as though the document search feature could be improved upon. Sometimes, it is difficult to find exactly what you are looking for.

Overall Seismic has allowed me to more readily consume internal facing content and share external content more effectively. It enables greater insight into how my customers interact with what I'm sharing.

The feature that differentiates Seismic from other internal document databases is the "LiveSend" function. You're able to track usage by time and section of documents that you send to your customers. This helps to refine and focus your sales messaging and check whether your materials are actually being used. Very helpful as an outside seller.
Desventajas
The search engine can sometimes be finicky and make it difficult to find what you're looking for. My internal Sales Enablement organization has been internally organizing the documents which makes it quite a bit easier.

Generally easy to use once you get the hang of it, great community for support, ability to suggest new features, great CSM.
Desventajas
Google integration is not the best, lots of little quirks and glitches as they pertain to Google. (Eg. can only connect 1 google account to sync files unless you're on TeamDrive which our org is not - check your integrations with an AE before purchasing), backend is not always intuitive - get assistant with the initial setup.
Search doesn't index over a certain sized file and many of our files exceed the limit making the search less effective.

Seismic makes content governance and organization extremely easy with intuitive controls to ensure the entire organization is aligned. Seismic is flexible enough to conform to existing processes in the organization, such as approval chains and asset owners but also adds to traditional enablement management with features like content tracking, insights, predictive content, custom asset creation, and more.
Desventajas
LiveDoc creation and editing is not compatible with MacOS.

As a relatively new employee, Seismic is a lifesaver when it comes to finding material and training myself on our extensive product offering. I wish I had known something like this existed because my previous employer could definitely use it!

Seismic is very easy to use and has been adopted widely by our company. As part of our sales team, I use Seismic daily to locate marketing/sales materials that can easily be shared with our customers and distributor partners. I also love the using the NewsCenter to find keep an eye out for relevant company announcements that might impact my customers. Finally the WorkSpace is a great way to share files and collaborate with others instead of sending attachments back and forth via email.
Desventajas
I really can't think of anything I would improve about Seismic. It meets all my needs.

SEISMIC is incredibly simple to use. It is very easy to navigate. Simple search terms can be used when looking for different resources. The platform can be integrated into existing portals. It has been invaluable in empowering not only the sales team but developers and other members of the IT team within the organization. The tool is as effective as the information that is uploaded. However, once managed properly, it makes tracking changes and following up on new developments such an easy task.
Desventajas
If I am being honest, I really have never had any real issue with using the platform as it has improved over time. Searching is easy, results are well organized. Initially navigating between the results, accessing documents and going back to the results may not have been very seamless. However, all that has now significantly approved. Again I will say the tool is as powerful as what is uploaded, categorized and made sharable.

It's very visual and the tagging and searching work well. It integrates well into Salesforce and content can quickly be downloaded.
Desventajas
The editing in Microsoft Silverlight feels ancient. I would consider staying with the product if they get this fixed.

Our sales team is able to easily find the exact content they need for each step of the sales cycle. They don't need to dig around for it and they are confident that what they find in Seismic is up to date. Then once they send it, they can see how their prospects engage with it.
Our marketing team is able to gauge usage and engagement to make longer term decisions about content strategy based on formats and topics that perform well.

I like that we're easily able to see what content is being used and how recipients are engaging with it.
Desventajas
From an admin perspective, it can be hard to customize the platform exactly as we want it. But the support team is always ready to step in when we need help.

I would highly recommend this product. I have been using it for roughly a year and it has simplified approaching clients and consultants. My favorite feature would be the tracking aspect. You can send tailored documents to someone and see if they opened the email and if they did how long they viewed each page of the document. Easy way to gauge whether or not the information you are sharing is relevant.
Desventajas
It does seem that if you send emails out to a group of people at the same time that it has a higher likelihood of being sent straight to spam and it never gets viewed.

The only thing I could think about changing would be the functionality of live share. Additionally better search engine matching in document words.

The SSO option was difficult to get operational but I believe we have that sorted out now.

My overall experience has been fantastic. I have had several customer questions come across my desk, and was able to find almost every single answer I needed in Seismic. Which prevents me from having to call other reps or company employees to find the answer. And has made my response time to customers very quick. I can say I have made sales using Seismic that I otherwise wouldn't have made if I didn't have quick access to product information. When customers call me with a question on a product i can easily access Seismic while on the phone and find an answer quickly.

This software is tremendous at organizing the vast amount of resources our company has to provide to reps and Doctors. Its very easy to navigate, and has been critical in getting up to speed for my accounts. My company sells thousands of products, so it would be impossible to be an expert on every one. But with Seismic I have been able to field several customer questions that I would not have otherwise been able to.
Desventajas
Maybe their could be a better tutorial on how to use the software, but with that said its very intuitive

I like the instant updates, firmwide. I like the interface both on the back and front end. I love the organization of the site. I love how quickly I can download data. And Seismic saves me hours per week.
Desventajas
I find it difficult to get training at my level - partially because what I use Seismic for is very specific. Plug ins usually break my PPT.

I enjoy the accessibility of this software! It is great to find about any article within technology and provides great examples. Also, it is great it has different sizes of information from quick facts on PDFs to Full PowerPoints that provide great details.
Desventajas
No issues with this product, very accessible.

It's easy to upload and make changes instantly! LiveDocs are great to use if you need to provide a simple set of materials.
Desventajas
I'd like more flexibility in the software, for example I'd like to see Profiles and LiveDocs become WYSIWYG for users to have a better experience.
